Nothing Lasts Forever
John 17
1After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed: “Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you. 2For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him. 3Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

Nothing lasts forever, well except for our souls, if we accept christ into our heart.
Take cars for example. A new car is awesome. It runs amazing, gets great gas mileage, is near silent, and requires almost no work, except a wash hear and there. A few years after birth, little things go wrong, tires get bald, the air conditioner button got stuck in because your kid was eating waffles in the car, and you forgot to get an oil change. You can pay a bunch to do so much for your car, but in the end it wont last. Everyone is always complaining “I hate cars, they are just too much work.” But if they were humans (which they arent, and I’m not saying treat them like it) they would be such servants, only requiring a little fee to take us millions of miles, slowing down time, so we can get where we want, when we want. But thats beside the point.
The point is like cars, we too eventaully die. Over time we deteriorate, and take much more work to stay alive. Older people go far to stay alive longer. The hype today, and has been for awhile, is to live longer. Eat healthier, exercise. The couch potatoes almost have life figured out. Aside from not being godly, (there might be some godly couch potatoes but w/e) they sit there everyday, watching TV, doing nothing to elongate their life, its just eat, sleep, TV for them. If they dedicated all their TV time to godly things they would be super godly. Everything gets old. Why are people so excited when people live til 90, or 100? Its punishment. Yeah, hes 94, but brain dead. But isnt it amazing? NO! Why suffer when its pointless?
Like I said, Nothing Lasts Forever.
Except your soul, if you accept Christ.
This is because God is infinite, and his love is in Jesus, they are one, and when we accept Jesus into our hearts, he literally comes into us, putting the love of the Lord into us.
Its a marriage. Something I dont 100% fully understand. Because i’m not married. But when I accepted Christ if felt really good. I wonder what marriage to a wife will feel like. Lol.
