No really though why are people so flipping evil?
Why is it that I mention I am going to teach the bible, why does there have to be little random confrontations or something like this - (just happened)
Wes: (dude i work with that oversees me) Hey! Tony! Ask Bassett what hes DOING!
Tony: (Jehovah’s Witness) what?
Wes: Ask him what hes doing!
Tony: What”?
Wes: Hes teaching the BIBLE! haha
Tony: …good, and why are you telling me to ask him this?
Wes: I WANNA SEE A SPIRITUAL WAR!!!
And then wes continued to ask me about it sarcastically.
Why are people like this. It happens at work, it happens at school. People think once they get out of High School the A-Hole-ness is going to end. Wrong people, you got another thing coming.
But whatever heres a couple other little tidbits…

Last night I found out that either Luna’s gave me decaffeinated coffee, or caffeine really doesn’t work. I did have two cups, but i was still mad tired. On my way home I almost fell asleep on the highway again, a few times. The last time woke me back up! Why?
I swear i was so tired i hallucinated.
I looked in the rear-view and saw two huge deer.
They caused me to not close my eyes again.
Then I was sitting at the light (it was already way past curfew) and a cop pulled right behind me. I knew I hadn’t or wasn’t doing anything wrong so it wasn’t scary. But I do hate cops though.
I got home and passed out.

But I am teaching tonight. I have faith in Lord that I’ll do good, i think the teaching thing is a percentage based effort. Like 50% me and 50% god. Because yeah I have to know the content, know what to do, put it all together (with gods help) wait….so 25% me 75% god…. and then we have to teach it but its not really us teaching it its the lord, so yeah. Its mostly god doing it all. I am pretty much ready on my part, and am so ready with the lord on my side. Im relying on him for this one!

What an interesting comment! I’ve never heard a non-believer talk about a spiritual war before. You should tell him: come to my teaching man, that’s spiritual warfare baby!
Yea though, I share the same thoughts. I do find it so hard to understand why people are so flippin’ evil, but I can always turn to that verse in Jeremiah 17:9. “The heart is more deceitful then all else and is desperately sick. Who can understand it?” It’s our fallen nature that at the core is deprived of God, and so Satan goes to fill in the spaces with lies, hate, vengence, pain, agony. The results of ignorance from God’s truth. That love conquers all and Satan hates love and will do anything to supress it in us and in the world. It is his kingdom after all…
But seriously, Bill and I work together at First Merit… For like the past few weeks since he retired from Microsoft.
Joe and Milton are my employees, but I just caught them surfing the ‘net during company time, so now they’re both fired.
If you’re being persecuted, that means you’re doing something right. But stories from Voice of the Martyrs and books like The Heavenly Man really keep it in perspective. We get made fun of a little, while Christians elsewhere get imprisoned, tortured, and even killed.
And thanks for the picture of Jesus spittin for half an hour trying to make clay… haha
Anyway we do some banking with bill by the way.
