My Green Letters Paper for Basic

…Tell me if i should be confident in my grade, or embaressed.

FAITH

The word faith has come up a lot in my life lately. I’ve been put in situations in which I have much more responsibility than ever before. But I know that anything the lord says or promises will come true, so putting faith in him is easy. All faith can only be had if, and only if facts exist. Otherwise you’re putting faith in superstition, speculation, or presumption. And what is the point of that? There is none. This takes me back to when I got saved. The only thing that had me thinking it would work was that the bible said Jesus dies for us. And it was true, because I feel it in my heart. This fact (that Jesus died for us) keeps us walking, standing, and living strong in Christ. Having dependence on God can only occur when we stop depending on ourselves, and let me tell you, I have had not to depend on myself many times, and still have to tell myself I need to depend on God. Having faith in God is necessary in every situation.

TIME

Time moves so fast its crazy. I remember when I was in kindergarten; the summer break seemed to last forever. As I get older, time seems to move faster, at an uncontrollable rate. I barely have time to do anything anymore. But as I realize how much I have grown in the past 6 years, I look to the next 6 and 7, and 8 years with excitement, knowing how amazingly I will grow in Christ. Developing our Christian life takes long, just look at Keith, he is still learning things about God and he’s 50+! When I first became a Christian, I looked at others that were able to turn right to passages, or talk about the stories of the Bible as if they were common knowledge, wondering why I could not do that. Also when I first got saved, I was mad excited about the Lord, and would stop at nothing to invite people to cell. But as I stuttered in my walk, my cell leader did too, and where healthy growth and maturity lacked, it was clear. So much time is involved in the act of growing spiritually, and becoming wise in the lo0rd, if I need to be 50+ to be as smart as Keith, so be it.

ACCEPTANCE

For a little while after I got saved, I pondered whether or not God fully accepted me, and why. But the bible told me in Romans 5:1 that threw Christ, God accepted me. God wanted to accept us, that why he sent his son for us, even though we were still sinner. The only thing he’s worried about when deciding whether or not to accept us, is if we accepted his son. That’s it, he won’t stop accepting us if we mess up, as long as we accept him, that’s there forever, and God doesn’t change. The only way we will stand strong in Christ, is if we are sure of where we stand on the topic of acceptance.

COMPLETE IN HIM

Our great ancestor Adam really messed it up for us. Life would be so perfect if he didn’t mess everything up, of course it was Satan’s fault though, since we come from Adam, we are like in many ways, I bet he would be a great friend, because we would be able to relate on our sinning ways. We would talk about how we are so evil, and in our hearts, no good exists. But once the lord came and died for us, we are able to turn away from our lame identity in Adam, and move on to our other identity. This is where we become complete in the lord. Without Jesus, Christian life would be impossible. When we get saved, we are born into Jesus, we are a “new creature in Christ” (2 core 5:17a).

IDENTIFICATION

Well like I said, since the Lord died, we are able to leave behind our old, lame Adamic identity. The lord put that identify in the same place he out our sins. This place I speak of is the cross, and the occurrence is when Jesus died on it. God didn’t just die for us, but we died with him. Everything Jesus has done , we also did, by being born unto his name, we inherited it all. HE died, so we died, he rose, so we rose, he went to heaven, and so will we.

Threw faith

We gain a new identity

In which god can finally accept us

We become complete in him

And over time we will grow in and with him

And eventually will die (or maybe not)

And got to heaven where

We will

Sit at the right

Hand

Of

GOD!
