Well as much as I love school.

The end of the year gets pretty lame. Yet its almost over, it should be sweet.

And it is. But theres still that whole Finals thing. Just like the cavs (that elli cant keep her mind off) – As they too are shooting for the Finals….. and I remember last year when it was all exciting that they were in this place they are in and then kablamo – it was all over. Maybe thats why elli is so bitter, because Cleveland teams have a record of getting your hopes up and then – they let you down – like this mag would to darwin followers.

Anyways I was reading “Building a Love Ethic”, one of Keiths articles from the Love Ethics class. This was of course an assignment from discipleship that Joe had me doing. You know I wouldnt read anything keith would write unless I had to. Just messing keith….

But for real though, Its clear we do have problem – mostly relationally. Everyones got an issue with someone, and at every meeting of 2 or more people, it seems theres a grudge somewhere in the room.

I think 2 Timothy 3:1–5 was a sweet passage because it really did just basically come true -

But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these.

dWe are all really selfish, love money – oh i love money – boastful – yeah im amazing with computers, were arrogant – completely – revilers, im not 100 percent sure about that one i dont even know what it means. Disobediant to parents, what teenager do you know that isnt, ungrateful, my middle name, unholy – tempting -, unloving – u know me, irreconcilable – its hard to fit in, everyones always gossiping, its hard to control ourselves, always, were always brutal, i dont know if im too much of a hater of good, mainly because im a christian. But nonchristians are. we are treacherous reckless and conceited though, very conceited, and we are always loving pleasure – JOE – more than god – JOE JOE JOE, im jk joe, but for real though…..

People at school are always doing the – godliness form, even though they deny him daily.

Thats a really good verse.

On top of all of this, is the disobedient to parents thing. Like i said what teenager do you know that isnt. We are all rebels, and its not like it stops at the teen years, you grow up with your parents and theyre awesome for awhile, but the thing is they rebelled from their parents and the generations of your family tree stemming backwards far – also rebelled. And we inherit all of that just like we inherit everything from adam and eve, they were rebels, and look at us.

But we have to look at this totally different. Those relationhips with our parents can be sweet, but we dont want them, but god calls for something different -

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honor your father and mother”–which is the first commandment with a promise—”that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.” – Ephesians 6:1–3

You see its something that we really need to work on..

How is it possible to change a relationship with parents unwilling to change it?

Im guessing, correct me please readers, but im guessing that all we really can is show the love of christ nonstop, even in frustrating situations, pray about it and get it done. No matter what you have to be loving. If there is anything in your past thats disrupting the relationship, forgive, and forget. Biblical love is the key.
